This weekend we went to our friend’s wedding and since the bride & groom said it would be alright, we decided to bring Kaylee along. Since we were attending the rehearsal dinner and it was a nighttime wedding, we decided to stay in a hotel for 2 nights. We stayed at the posh Tribeca Grand Hotel, which was a couple of blocks away from the Tribeca Rooftop, where the wedding was being held.
Kaylee was terrific during the rehearsal dinner, she woke up half way through the meal and let lots of people hold her with minimum fussiness. We were so proud of her behavior that we decided to bring her to the wedding. She exceeded our expectations when she didn’t make a peep during the ceremony, fell asleep in my arms, and then slept in her stroller for the next 5 hours during the reception that followed. There was an amazing 11 piece live band that performed music all night long, only 1 table away from ours. I can’t believe that she slept through all that music! What an amazing little girl!
Kaylee also had her first trip in a NYC cab!
