A letter from our Senator

I’m not sure if this happens whenever new babies are born, but Scott & I received a letter from our State Senator, Suzi Oppenheimer, congratulating us on the birth of our daughter.

My belated congratulations to you on the birth of your daughter, Kaylee Ann. A baby is a sign of hope, or new beginnings, or joy in new creation. May your daughter, Kaylee Ann, always bring you the delight and wonder that is yours at this moment.

As the mother of four children, I know how much work and sacrifice it takes to raise a child. May you all be blessed with good health and happiness throughout the year.

Sincerely,
Suzi Oppenheimer

Now, I know it’s a form letter where they just insert the family names, but it’s funny that a senator would write something like this, isn’t it?

CONGRATULATIONS!
What a nice thing for a busy senator to do!

How’s Kaylee doing? How are Mom & Dad? You folks getting any sleep?

Love the pictures! Please keep posting them.

Love & hugs to all, Nancy ;-)

Kaylee’s doing great! She’s such a great sleeper, so mom & dad are pretty happy. We’ll be sure to keep posting pictures.

Lots of love,
Anna

It;s still nice of Suzi to acknowledge Kaylee even if she can’t vote for her. She (Suzi) is not even running next month

We are enjoying reading about Kaylee’s new adventures. Even though we aren’t close by, we know what is happening in the newest Canoni’s life :)
Love
